A Result-First Checklist for Iterative AI Image Work
AI image work is rarely complete after the first generation. The useful unit is a connected workflow: source, references, prompt, settings, result, next edit, final version, and delivery.
1. Define the destination first
Decide where the image will be used before choosing an aspect ratio or model. A marketplace product image, blog cover, campaign visual, and social post have different crop and text-safety requirements.
2. Preserve the inputs that produced a useful result
- original brief
- source and reference images
- prompt and constraints
- model, resolution, and aspect ratio
- generated result and decision
3. Continue from the strongest result
When a draft is close, do not recreate it from memory. Continue from that exact result and request one clear change at a time: replace the background, expand the canvas, enhance detail, or adjust a specific object.
4. Separate drafts from the final asset
Use explicit states such as draft, continued, final, and delivered. This prevents an older variation from being exported by mistake and makes later revisions easier.
5. Review before delivery
- inspect small text and brand marks at full size
- check hands, edges, and background artifacts
- compare the result with every reference image
- confirm the final crop and file format
- keep the working context for future revisions
ImgFast Workspace applies this result-first pattern by keeping task inputs, prompts, settings, and outputs connected so a result can be continued, marked final, and downloaded without rebuilding the context.
The broader lesson is tool-independent: preserve state, make the next action explicit, and treat delivery as a separate step from generation.
